				Looking at muster books of the Trafalgar Fleet, I found that up to 10 people from various ships gave 1 Syrrott Place, Dublin as address for next of kin.
 
 
A first, I was thinking of some sort of official building like a post office or some administration. 
 
Then David Asprey found this old picture:
 
 
 
So if this is the original building, it was more probably a boarding house where seamen families where living.
 
Maybe some charity for poor seamen ?
 
What his puzzling is that the location is not particularly near the docks.
