To enhance a stunning model we have at the Maritime Museum of BC, Canada, I am preparing a 3-D museum exhibit to illustrate the number of people on board HMS Ajax (1798), lining up rows of model people to show the number of officers, midshipmen, marines, cooks/bakers, tradesmen, etc.. Looking for suggestions of 1) what groups to represent as large divisions of labour/authority, 2) what numbers would be appropriate for each, 3) information on the appropriate unifirm colours (top/trousers) for painting the figures. All comments appreciated. _________________ Cuyler Page |
