Betsy Fremantle (wife of Captain Thomas Fremantle) who nursed Nelson when he lost his arm at Teneriffe.
Her published diaries made fascinating reading on the life during the war.

Only a small part of her diaries (1789 - 1857) have been published.
Dr Elaine Chalus plan to publish the rest.
