For years Mark Barrett (EE) has maintained the best Nelsonian website and forum of the web at About Nelson.
It was the must-read place to go for the amateur and the professional.
Today EE has decided to turn the page(s) and devote his time to other subjects.
The forum is online but no more active.
It still has a great value for it's past content where you can find useful info aplenty.
This pose again the question of the volatility of the web.
Enthusiasts maintains interesting websites, forum and mailing lists on every imaginable subject.
There are more things in the web, Horatio,
Than are dreamt of in your philosophy.
Then for some reason a valuable resource disappears just like that: yesterday it was there and today has just vanished in the digital aether.
The web is the Library of Alexandria of the 21st century: the repository of the human knowledge that can disappear at the snap of a finger. Imagine a really nasty virus causing havoc not only in your computer but in the web servers.
For now there is only one solution: when you find something of interest, save it on your computer and make regular backups of your PC.
Fair wind, Mark.
