In Britain there are the remains of three ships dating to the Napoleonic era that can be visited. The most famous is Nelson’s flagship, the Victory, at Portsmouth, but there is also the Trincomalee at Hartlepool and the Unicorm at Dundee. Are there any ships of this period in France, or indeed in any other European country, that can be visited?
