To Desmond O'Connell:
You sent me an email but I have an error when I try to answer.

Commander Henry JELLICOE was my great great grandfather, and Lieutenant Joseph Chitty JELLICOE was my great great uncle. also could you give me any information regarding the death of Lieutenant Joseph Chitty JELLICOE |
Here is my answer:
You are right about Commander Henry Jellicoe but I haven't his date of promotion.
Joseph Chitty Jellicoe was well a commander: he was promoted on 2 June 1825 and died on 14 September 1825, so he didn't enjoy his promotion for long.
For his death, all I have is the date, no more detail.
I am interested on any info you have.
As you certainly have toroughly researched your ancestors, you certainly have more than me on them.
Maybe you can make some post in the forum.
