...who possibly fought in the Battle of the Nile?
I'm a Napoleonic naval sword collector, and recently acquired a British naval officer's sword which is decorated with a date 1798, and engraved with the officer's initials WH.
I tried to find on-line the Steel's Navy List for that period, but there isn't one to be found, only hard copies in libraries, it seems.
Does your cd-rom break down officers by the ships they served on, and dates of service?
