Launched in 1757 and still in service as a hospital ship in 1828

If you go to http://www.threedecks.org/index.php?display_type=ships_search and search for great Britain, frigates as type and 28 guns it will give you a list of all 87 28 gun frigates, should be easy ...

According to Winfield "British Warships in the Age of Sail 1793-1817" there were 43 British 64's in 1793, 2 in commission (Lion and St Albans), 28 in ordinary and 13 in harbour service.

According to O'Byrne, Morrison was appointed to a coast gaurd station in April 1827 which he commanded until 1829 when he retired from ill health.
