  • 1700 Capt. George DELAVAL.
    In May 1700 he returned to England after arranging a treaty for the redemption of English captives in Turkish hands and was appointed to TILBURY and sent back to Barbary with a large merchant ship under convoy to bring back the prisoners. He arrived back in the Downs on the 28th. February 1701/2. In 1704 he he accompanied Sir George ROOKE to the Mediterranean, where TILBURY was with Sir Cloudesly SHOVEL's squadron at the Battle off Malaga, in which he had 20 killed and 25 wounded. He commanded TILBURY until 1705.
  • 170? Capt. James ADLINGTON, he died in England on 15th. Oct. 1709 while still in command.
