Sold in 1787.

  • 1742 Capt. DRAPER. She captured a French schooner with 40 tons of cocoa and jewels valued at 12,000 pieces of eight.
  • 1756 Capt. John STORR, he was one of the captains sent out to the Mediterranean in September to take over command from those sent home to give evidence in the trial of Mr BYNG. He served under Vice Ad. OSBORNE in blockading M. de la Clue's squadron in Carthagena. In February 1758 he was wounded by a splinter which tore away his calf.
  • Soon after he returned to serve under Sir Edward HAWKE in the Channel fleet. and took part in the defeat of Conflans in November. REVENGE was driven out to sea on the night of the action, but did not sustain any material damage. He quitted REVENGE soon after.
