- 1709 Rebuilt at Plymouth as a 24-gun 6th. rate.
- 1715 Capt. Vincent PEARCE, appointed 5th. October. In 1717 he accompanied Sir George BYNG to the Baltic and, in the following year, he was ordered to the Bahamas to suppress a band of pirates who had taken shelter there to prey on ships from all over the Atlantic. He was promoted to command RIPPON in 1723.
- 1727 Rebuilt Woolwich.
- 1731 Capt. DOUGLAS, 24th. November, one of a small squadron (EXPERIMENT, FLAMBOROUGH, DEAL CASTLE, WOLF and GRAMPUS) put in commission to protect the trade at Jamaica from the daily depredations of the Spanish guarda costas.
