  • 1748 Capt. Jervis Henry PORTER, In PENZANCE he proceeded to Louisburg with a squadron commanded by Rear Ad. WATSON, and returned with him to England at the close of the year. In June he was employed in convoying the homeward bound Baltic trade from the Sound.
  • 1755 Capt. Richard DORRIL, promoted to post captain on 11th. February and appointed to PENZANCE. He was ordered, towards the end of the year, with a convoy to Lisbon, at which place he was during the dreadful earthquake which took place on the 11th. December.
  • 1759 Capt. William GOUGH. He was ordered to Canada and died in the St. Lawrence in the course of 1760.
