  • 1704 Capt. Richard CULLIFORD, sent to the Mediterranean under Sir George ROOKE, he was not concerned in either of the two great events of the year, having been sent to Terceras, under the Dutch admiral Vanderdussen, a few days before the action off Malagar.
  • 1711 Capt. Isaac COOKE, North America, he joined Sir Hovenden WALKER's expedition against Quebec, and was sent home with news of its failure.
  • 1722 Capt, Henry MEDLEY, Mediterranean. With Capt. SCOT in the DRAGON, seized a ship called the REVOLUTION, lying within the mole of Genoa, on information that she was in the service of the Pretender.
  • 1736 Capt. William CHAMBERS, appointed 5th. October.
