- 1694 Capt. Michael WILKINS, promoted out of GERMAN SPY (2), on 23rd. February. He died on the following 16th. August.
- 1703 Capt. William RUSSEL, who died in the West Indies on 30 June, and was succeeded by -
- 1703 Capt. Humphry PUDNER on 10 July.
- 1706 Capt. William JAMESON, Jamaica, on 13 January, but died in the following September.
- 1706 Capt. John WILLIAMS on 25 September
- 1707 Capt. Robert BOWLER, promoted in January by Commodore KERR who commanded the squadron in Jamaica.
- 1708 Capt. Robert JOHNSON, appointed 3rd. February.
- 1708 Capt. James HEMMINGTON, appointed 12 November.
- 1711 Capt. Matthew ELFORD, appointed 5th. March.
- 1719 Capt. William DAVIES, June.
- 1721 Capt. Matthew CONSETT, April.
- 1731 Capt. John St. LOO, 24th. November, one of a small squadron (PHOENIX, FLAMBOROUGH, DEAL CASTLE, WOLF and GRAMPUS) put in commission to protect the trade at Jamaica from the daily depredations of the Spanish guarda costas.
