  • 1721 Capt. George PURVIS, he served on this vessel for several years and in 1726 he accompanied Sir Charles WAGER to Gibraltar and served during the siege.
  • 1728 Capt. John FORESTER, appointed on 6th. March.
  • 1733 Capt. Thomas SMITH, appointed in March, one of three frigates sent to the Mediterranean to restrain and punish the various pirate states on the coast of Barbary. He was promoted to ROMNEY in 1741.
  • 1743 Capt. John WATKINS, appointed 4th. August.
  • 1744 Capt. Alexander COLVILLE, appointed 6th. March and before the end of the year he was advanced to the LEOPARD.
