  • 1713 Capt. Mungo HERDMAN, William Nisbet (wnisbet@tiscali.co.uk) suggests that this man was later captain of the WEYMOUTH in 1720-21, in which Lieut. Alexander Selkirk died in 1721.
  • 1714 Capt. Alexander GEDDES, retaining the command for a few months only.
  • 1715 Capt. Edward WHITWORTH, appointed 2 June and removed to the LUDLOW CASTLE in the following December.
  • 1719 Capt. Erasmus PHILLIPS. On 29 May 1719 she foundered in the Bay of Biscay with the loss of all on board.
