  • 1759 Capt. William PASTON.
    He was taken prisoner while commanding the flat-boats during the attack on St. Cas in September 1758 and was captured. On his return he was appointed to command TWEED, in which he continued for the remainder of the war. On 30th. September 1760 he captured the L'ELIZABETH, a small privateer belonging to St. Malo, carrying six carriage guns and as many swivels, with a crew of 41 men, and Le HARDI of Bayonne, carrying ten guns and 125 men, which he captured off Cape Finisterre on 15th. March and carried into Lisbon.
