TRIMMER (16) The French L'ANTI-BRETON taken Capt. R. P. COOPER in STAG in 1782. Steele says she was Spanish but the name sounds more American.
Sold in 1801.

  • 1793 Capt C. CRAVEN, Jersey station. She captured one of the first prizes taken under the tri-colour flag.
The prize was taken into Falmouth by Lieut. Charles CARTER and shortly after he returned to TRIMMER she was found to be defective and paid off. She remained at Sheerness until sold.
