  • 1811 Capt. Peter HEYWOOD, Brazils.
    In July 1813 he exchanged with Capt. Manley Hall DIXON of MONTAGUE.
    NEREUS then escorted the homeward bound trade as far as the equator before returning to Rio de Janeiro. She then joined a small squadron under the command of Capt. DIXON in the River Plate.
    He was relieved by Capt. Sir Edward TUCKER in August 1814 and NEREUS paid off in Woolwich in January 1815.
