  • 1807 Capt. Archibald DUFF. He escorted a convoy to Halifax and then sailed for Jamaica.
    In March 1808 Capt. DUFF sailed to destroy Spanish fortifications in Honda Bay on the north west coast of Cuba.
    Unfortunately, on the 24th., her pilot ran her on a reef at the entrance to the bay and it was found impossible to get her off. With the help of a privateer in company Capt. DUFF was able to get all his officers and crew to three prizes he had left at the Dry Tortugas, from here they returned safely to Jamaica.
