  • 1743 Capt. HANWAY, Bristol Channel in August when he was ordered to Beerhaven in Ireland as convoy to a ship which put in from Jamaica.
  • L'Aimable Vainqueur, Capt. Mancheque, from Martinique for Havre, of 250 tons, 10 guns and 28 men, laden with sugar, cotton, & c. taken Capt. HANWAY in his passage from Bristol to Spithead, and carried into Plymouth in March 1744.
  • 1744 Refitted at Chatham in May. Capt. Elliott ELLIOTT, Sheerness, to Middleburgh in Zealand in July. Requested a pilot to navigate between Yarmouth and the Gun Fleet in August. Capt. ELLIOTT removed to the VULTURE sloop in September. Mr JOHNSON and Mr IRVINE, late Master and Surgeon of the Mortar moved with him.
  • 1744 Capt. John AMHERST. Plymouth.
