  • 1800 East Indies convoy on 19 June.
    On 20 November 1800 a court martial was held on board SHANNON at Sheerness to try Mr Samuel PORTER, carpenter of MADRAS, for drunkenness. He was rendered incapable of ever serving again as an officer in the Navy.
  • 1803 Capt. Charles Marsh SCHOMBERG, From the summer of 1803 until she was dismantled and laid up in Valetta harbour in the spring of 1807, he commanded MADRAS at Malta where she was stationed as guardship. She was sold there in 1807.
