  • 1800 Joseph SPEAR, Halifax.
  • He removed to CHICHESTER in January 1803 and Lieut. William COMPTON was promoted from LEANDER to command LILY on the Halifax station.
  • 1804 Ditto, West Indies.
    After a bitter fight she was taken off the Georgia coast by the French privateer DAME AMBERT (16), ex MARLBORO' PACKET, on 15 July 1804. Capt. COMPTON was killed. She was renamed GENERAL ERNOUF and used as a privateer.
    During an action with RENARD on 20 April 1805 she caught fire and blew up.
