- She was the second vessel to be launched at the dockyard at Milford.
Only seven ships were built there between 1804 and 1814 when building was moved to Pembroke Dock. - 1807 Capt. Lord William STUART, Spithead.
While in charge of a prize taken by LAVINIA, Henry WEST, midshipman was captured by a Spanish corvette off Ushant. He later escaped from San Sebastian and rejoined LAVINIA as her 3rd. lieutenant in 1809. She took part in the assault on Walcheren in August. - 1811 Capt. George DIGBY, to the Mediterranean.
At the end of the year under repair at Portsmouth. - 1812 Mediterranean.
- 1814-3 out of commission at Plymouth.
