By 1816 Mr THOMAS was described as a surveyor. He re-commissioned INVESTIGATOR in January 1819 and February 1825, on which occasion he moved his base to the Shetlands. He re-commissioned her again March 1831 (North Sea) and February 1834 (Woolwich). She paid off at Woolwich during 1835. - From 1837 she was used by the Thames Police at Woolwich.
