  • 1811 Harry HOPKINS, 05/1810, Plymouth, under the orders of Sir Robert CALDER.
    In March 1811 she was paid salvage for the BELLA CAMILLA, retaken 3 October 1810.
  • 1812 cruising in the Channel.
    Fifteen miles south of the Eddystone on 22 December 1813 he captured the French privateer schooner REVENANT after a short chase. She was armed with 14 guns and had sailed from St. Malo the previous day.
    Other vessels captured or destroyed by HELICON under his command were the ZULMA and a privateer which he drove on shore near St. Marlo.
    HELICON also assisted in the capture of the VENUS, a 14-gun schooner.
