HAVICK (16) The Dutch HAVIK, surrendered to Vice-Ad. ELPHINSTONE, Saldanha Bay on 17 August 1796.
  • 1799 Philip BARTHOLMEW, re-fitting at Plymouth.
  • 1800 Ditto, cruising in Channel.
    In company with SUFFISANTE she took the French privateer lugger COURAGEUX (5), in the Channel on 24 January 1800.
    On 9 November 1800 she was wrecked in St. Aubyn's Bay, Jersey, all the crew escaped to the shore after spending nearly 12 hours in perishing conditions.
    Among those who escaped was Lieut. John Julian who commanded TEASER in 1812.
