  • 1812 Lieut, Thos. ENGLAND, North Sea. She captured the French privateer LA PAULINE off the Horn Reef on 1 June. She had three guns and 13 men and was three days out of Amsterdam.
  • FLAMER was with DICTATOR, PODARGUS and CALYPSO off the Norwegian coast when they went into the channel by Mardoe to attack a Danish frigate, two sloops and a gunbrig on the 7 July 1812. When PODARGUS grounded as she was entering FLAMER was left to assist her. They were both engaged by numerous batteries and gun boats and at one time both brigs were aground but they were floated off by the efforts of their crews. FLAMER lost one man killed, ordinary seaman Donald M'NEAL, and one wounded, Mr James POWELL, midshipman.
