  • 1779 Capt. Ambrose REDDALL, sailed with Rear Ad. Sir Edward HUGHES' squadron from St. Helens on 7 March for the East Indies.
    Took part in actions with Suffrein's squadron off Sadras on 17 February 1782 and Providien on 12 April.
  • 1782 Capt. A. REDDALL, East Indies.
  • 1783 Capt. William CLARK.
    Took part in action off Cuddalore on 20 June 1783.
  • In December 1796 command was given to Lieut. George DYER when she was converted to a prison ship.
  • 1798 Lieut. JAMES, 12/1798, Gillingham.
    Some men condemned after the mutiny at the Nore were confined on board her until after the Battle of Camperdown when when, after a prayer by Ad. DUNCAN, they were pardoned by the King.
    Renamed BUCKINGHAM in 1800.
    Then Lieut. George PAUL in command until she was broken up in 1812.
