DAUNTLESS visited China, New South Wales, New Zealand, the West coast of South America and the Marquesa Is. In March 1822, in an excursion to Botany Bay, a bronze tablet was fitted to the rock on which Capt. COOK and Sir Joseph Banks landed. She passed through the Torres Strait to rejoin the Commander-in-Chief. DAUNTLESS paid off at Portsmouth at the end of 1823.
