  • 1807 Lieut. John LEACH, Downs.
    In standing towards the Galloper on 17 June 1808 Lieut. LEACH discovered a long lug-sail boat approaching five English merchant vessels. He made sail and, after a four hour chase, came up with and captured her. She was the French privateer L'ETE, Louis Pequandiere, with 22 men armed with small arms on board. She could row 16 oars.
  • In August 1809 CRACKER was serving with the flotilla in the West Scheldt supporting the army during the abortive Walcheren expedition. She was sent, with the flotilla under Sir Home POPHAM, to sound and buoy the channel to enable the larger ships to advance.
