    COMET was expended in an attack on four French frigates in the Dunkirk Roads on the evening of 7 July 1800.
    DART succeeded in capturing one but, although the captains of the fireships remained on board until their ships were completely in flames, the other three frigates escaped. Capt. LEEF was slightly wounded.
