  • 1807 Capt. William Jones LYE, East Indies.
    On 10 July 1807, 25 miles S. E. of Little Andaman Island, BOMBAY captured the French national brig LE JASEUR (12) after a chase of nine hours. The brig had left Mauritius on 15 April but had made no captures.
  • Renamed CEYLON in 1808.
