  • 1798 Lieut. Joseph JAMES, who was appointed to her from ALFRED in the autumn of 1798. Channel.
    ATTACK was with the force covering the debarkation of British troops near Den Helder in August 1799 which resulted in the surrender of the Dutch fleet.
  • She was employed on anti-invasion duties in 1801 under the orders of Lord NELSON and was one of the twenty gun vessels with Vice-Ad. POLE's fleet in the Baltic in June 1801.
  • Sold at the Peace of Amiens.
