  • On 22 January 1800 a court martial was held on board CIRCE on James TESTER, a seaman of ALKMAAR, for striking the Boatswains mate. He was sentenced to be hanged but, because of his excellent character he was recommended for mercy.
  • 1805 Storeship at the Nore.
