  • 1763 A 4-gun cutter. She was built in February 1763 and sold 23 October 1780.
  • 1770 A galley purchased in North America during June 1777. Lost off Rhode Island 1 August 1778.
  • 1799 A 24-gun 6th. Rate. She was one of the 17 Dutch ships seized by CIRCE at Den Helder on 28 August 1799. She was renamed HELDER the following year and sold in June 1807.
  • An ALARM Revenue cutter was stationed at Exeter in 1784
  • An ALARM lugger is recorded at Dartmouth in 1803 with a Capt. SEARLE for the impressment of seamen.
